About Us
The Concord Burns unit consist of an Inpatient Unit, Ambulatory Care Clinic, Burns Operating Rooms, Burns Telehealth Centre and PC2 Skin Laboratory and The Burn and Reconstructive Surgery Research Laboratory located at the ANZAC Institute on campus.
Our mission is to provide the most current and innovative Burns care including surgery, nursing and multidisciplinary rehabilitative care to facilitate optimal functional and aesthetic outcomes and allow our patients to transition back to a normal way of life and social reintegration as effectively and efficiently as possible.
We accept any ambulatory patients with an acute or chronic burn injury or other skin and soft tissue loss injury via referral from any Emergency department, Metropolitan and Regional hospitals/ General Practice/ Justice Health/ Mental Health and Interstate Burn Units.
