About Advanced GI Surgical Program

The Advanced Gastrointestinal Surgical Program (AGISP) was established to oversee all Upper GI/Colorectal complex surgical cancer procedures at RPA. The program is managed by the RPA Institute of Academic Surgery (IAS) and governed by a dedicated steering committee.

The steering committee meets bi-monthly and includes multidisciplinary and multispecialty groups of clinical and non-clinical staff from a variety of departments across the hospital who oversee the implementation, clinical activity, operational aspects, funding requirements and research programs.
